Review of Automechanika 2024: TUNAP's successful appearance at the automotive industry's leading trade fair for the aftermarket

Automechanika 2024, which took place in Frankfurt from September 10 to 14, was a complete success for the entire automotive industry. With over 4,200 exhibitors from 80 countries and more than 108,000 trade visitors, it was once again the world's largest trade fair of its kind. On an impressive 320,000 m², companies from all over the world presented their latest innovations and solutions that will have a decisive influence on the future of the automotive industry in the aftermarket sector. The top themes included electrification, vehicle connectivity, driver assistance systems and advancing digitalization.

As one of the leading providers of chemical-technical solutions for the automotive industry, TUNAP was represented with an extensive product portfolio. Our aftermarket products, which are specially tailored to the needs of workshops and the aftermarket, were at the center of our trade fair presence. One of the highlights was the presentation of our VDI/ZDK 6032-compliant airco well^® air conditioning cleaning process. Together with new products such as the 998 hygiene cleaner for the pollen filter box and the corresponding cleaning tool, this aroused great interest among workshops, dealers and OEMs.

The response to our microflex^® additives, which are known for their performance and efficiency, was particularly pleasing. With this TUNAP product line, we offer workshops the opportunity to clean and protect vehicle components. This extends the service life and therefore also contributes to sustainability. The demand for such innovative solutions in the aftermarket shows that TUNAP is ideally positioned to meet the growing demands of the automotive industry.

During the five days at Automechanika, TUNAP employees had the opportunity to hold numerous discussions with customers, partners and interested parties. The focus was on current trends and challenges in the industry. The topics of sustainability and efficiency played a central role. TUNAP was able to show how our products help to reduce emissions and optimize energy consumption - two key topics that are becoming increasingly important for manufacturers, OEMs and the aftermarket. Workshops, OEMs and dealers from Germany and abroad took the opportunity to find out more about our customized solutions. They were impressed by our many years of expertise and our role as a reliable private label partner for private labels.
